Guidelines & Best Practices
Email Sending Guidelines
To maintain high deliverability and protect the reputation of TSP Scale's infrastructure, all senders must adhere to the following strict requirements and best practices.
Sending Requirements
- Verified Domains: You may only send email from domains you have verified in the TSP Scale dashboard.
- SPF Setup: Sender Policy Framework (SPF) records must be configured to authorize TSP Scale IPs.
- DKIM Setup: DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) signatures are mandatory for all outbound traffic.
- DMARC Setup: A DMARC policy (at least `p=none`) must be published for your sending domain.
Sender Reputation & List Hygiene
- Bounce Rate Management: Maintain a hard bounce rate below 3%. Remove invalid addresses immediately.
- Complaint Handling: Spam complaint rates must remain below 0.1%. Monitor feedback loops actively.
- Unsubscribes: Include clear unsubscribe links in all marketing emails and process requests within 24 hours.
Strict Restrictions
- No Purchased Lists: Buying, renting, or leasing email lists is strictly prohibited.
- No Scraping: Using automated tools to scrape emails from websites is prohibited.
- No Spam: Unsolicited bulk email will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.
Warm-up Best Practices
If you are sending from a new domain or IP, you must gradually build trust with Inbox Providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook).
- Start by sending fewer than 100 emails per day.
- Increase volume by no more than 20% to 50% every few days.
- Send to your most engaged users first (users who open and click).
- Pause volume increases if you notice rising bounce or deferral rates.
